Home Visits and Telephone Appointments
Home visits are for patients who are too ill or infirm to come to the Surgery. Please telephone the Surgery before 10:30am. on the day of the visit and give the Receptionist as much information as possible, so that the Doctor can give the request appropriate priority. A Doctor or Nurse Practitioner will usually ring you back before visiting.
If a patient has a temperature or a rash, coming to the Surgery will do no harm or endanger others. It is appreciated if patients can attend Surgery if at all possible. This is usually quicker for the patient, where we have better facilities to treat you.
If a telephone conversation with your Doctor or a Nurse will suffice please telephone the Surgery before 10:00am to arrange a call back by the Doctor after morning surgery.
The Nurse operates on the same system, including an afternoon at any time between 3:00pm and 5:30pm.
