Please share: Severn Hospice-Pounds for Perry appeal

Posted on:

Dear patients we have recently been notified that Perry Ward in Shrewsbury Severn Hospice will be closed in June for a year to allow for substantial and necessary refurbishment. Please read more about it in the page link below:

The makeover will provide eight improved rooms for patients, a room for family members to stay if they need to, plus treatment rooms, consultation rooms and quiet rooms. Patients will have the privacy and dignity of their own en suite, and direct access to the gardens we know are such an important part of the caring environment we want to create.

Portcullis has decided to dedicate all fund raising activities for the next year from June 2025 to June 2026 to this important cause and are setting up a ” friendly competition” within the practice to see who can raise the most money for the Hospice.

Our teams will be posting from time to time various activities to support this cause. In the past our staff have been very generous with their time and efforts organising sponsored Pijama days, sporting challenges, sponsored swims and cake bake sales. We are sure all our staff will rise to the challenge and hope that our future fund raising activities in the next year will be well attended and supported. Watch this space!

In the meantime we would appreciate if our patients could give generously to Severn Hospice and consider donating in the link provided.
