The Practice Nurses are available by appointment and can offer telephone advice. They undertake a wide range of procedures including:

  • Coronary Heart Disease
  • Counselling
  • Dietary Advice
  • Travel Advice and Injections
  • Help to Quit

  • Impact / Alcohol Services

The nurses also give advice on:

They are particularly concerned with preventing disease and promoting good health.

Health Care Assistants

The Health Care Assistants work closely with the Practice Nurses, District Nurses and the Health Visitor. They are also able to take blood, test urine and check blood pressure. They also run health check clinics, Help to quit and Help to Slim.
